Over the holidays, from early November to early January, the village is transformed into a Nostalgic Christmas in the Woods. It is an interactive theme park with Characters from the Northwoods and Santa and Mrs. Claus with their dog, Arrow. There is holiday-themed entertainment every day.
I takes just 1h30 driving from LA. This ride is beautiful and as you can see the snow on top of mountains. Be sure to have chains in the trunk in case of snow (we couldn’t come back because we didn’t have those). The park is open from 10am to 6pm—weather permitting—every day except, ironically, Christmas Day.
Ticket price is $59 for adults and $49 for kids in high season. After Christmas it is known as WinterWonderland season, with prices down to $29 for adults and $19 for kids. Annual passes are also available.
It’s a family-friendly place! Everything they have for adults they also have a mini kids version.
